When everything feels heavy — low energy, little joy, a harsh inner voice, or a sense of just going through the motions — depression may be weighing on you. I help adults in downtown Edmonds, WA move through depression toward feeling like themselves again.

Depression looks different for everyone. It can be sadness, numbness, exhaustion, trouble concentrating, loss of interest in things you used to enjoy, or a steady stream of self-criticism. It can also be quiet and high-functioning — getting through each day while feeling empty underneath. Whatever shape it takes, you do not have to carry it alone.

How I work with depression

I offer a compassionate, non-judgmental space and an interactive, down-to-earth style. We will gently explore what is contributing to how you feel, soften the negative self-talk, and find small, doable steps toward more energy and meaning. I draw on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Narrative Therapy, and parts work, always shaped around you and what you need.

What you can expect

Healing takes time and honesty, and what you put into the work is what you get out of it. With support, many people find their way back to a fuller, more hopeful life — able to see their strengths, not just their wounds.

I see adults in my Edmonds office. If depression has been wearing you down, contact me to schedule a consultation.
