Grief can arrive after the death of someone you love — or after any significant loss: a divorce, an illness, a move, a job, a friendship, or a chapter of life that has ended. I offer grief and loss counseling for adults in downtown Edmonds, WA.

There is no single right way to grieve, and no timeline you are supposed to follow. Grief can come in waves — sadness, anger, guilt, relief, numbness, and back again. It can feel isolating, especially when the people around you expect you to move on. You are allowed to take the time you need.

How I work with grief

I offer a warm, steady presence and a space where all of your feelings are welcome. Rather than rushing you through stages, I walk alongside you as you process your loss, honor what mattered, and slowly find your footing again. I often use imagery, narrative, and gentle reflection to help give words to what can feel impossible to express.

What you can expect

You can expect compassion, patience, and someone who will not flinch from the hard parts. Grief does not simply disappear, but it can soften and change shape, leaving room for living again.

I see adults in my Edmonds office. If you are carrying a loss, reach out to schedule a consultation.
