Below are answers to some of the questions I hear most often. If your question isn’t covered here, please feel free to reach out.

Do you accept insurance?

I am an out-of-network provider for all insurance companies. Payment is due at the time of service, and I can provide a monthly superbill (a detailed receipt) that you may submit to your insurance for possible out-of-network reimbursement. It is a good idea to check your plan’s out-of-network mental health benefits.

What are your fees?

Please contact me for current fee information. As an out-of-network provider, I provide superbills you can submit for possible reimbursement.

What do you help with?

I work with adults navigating anxiety, depression, grief and loss, life transitions, and relationship challenges. My approach is warm, interactive, and tailored to each person rather than to a formula.

Where are sessions held?

I see clients in person at my private practice in beautiful downtown Edmonds, at 420 5th Ave S, Suite 201, Edmonds, WA 98020. The office has big windows, natural light, and lots of plants.

What are your hours?

I see clients by appointment on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, from 1:00 to 6:00 PM.

How do I get started?

The first step is simply to reach out, by phone at (206) 550-3502 or by email. We can talk briefly about what brings you in and whether we are a good fit, and then schedule a first appointment.

What is the first session like?

The first session is a chance for us to get to know each other. I will ask about what is bringing you to therapy, a bit of your history, and what you are hoping for, and you are welcome to ask me anything. There is no pressure — it is about finding out whether we are a good match to work together.

What is your approach to therapy?

I am friendly, intuitive, and interactive, and I offer honest feedback and a fresh perspective. I draw on approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Narrative Therapy, and parts work, tailored to you. Therapy is not always easy, and there are no promises or guarantees — but with time and effort, it can be deeply rewarding.
